✧ On the authority of the Prophet ﷺ, he said: "Whoever drinks intoxicants, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. If he drinks it again and becomes intoxicated, his prayer will not be accepted for another forty nights. And if he drinks it again and becomes intoxicated, his prayer will not be accepted for another forty nights. And on the third and fourth time, if he drinks it, his prayer will not be accepted for forty nights. If he repents, Allah will not accept his repentance, and it is a right upon Allah to make him drink from the fountain of impurity." It was asked, "What is the fountain of impurity?" He said, "The sweat of the people of Hell."
