✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was asked about the firstborn offering. He said: The firstborn offering is a right, and if you leave it until it becomes a shughzubb, a one-year-old camel, or a two-year-old camel, and you load it for the sake of God, or give it to a widow, it is better than slaughtering it when its flesh sticks to its fur, upsetting your vessel, and bereaving your she-camel.
