✧ Nawf and Abdullah b. Amr met, and Nawf spoke, and he mentioned the hadith. Abdullah b. Amr b. al-As said: 'And I will relate to you from the Prophet ﷺ: We prayed with the Prophet ﷺ one night. Some stayed behind and some returned. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came before the people stirred for the Isha prayer. He came out of breath, raising his finger like this, and he held up twenty-nine [fingers] and pointed his index finger to the sky, saying: Rejoice, O assembly of Muslims! This is your Lord, Mighty and Majestic, who has opened a gate from the gates of heaven, boasting of you to the angels, saying: O My angels, look at My servants: they have performed an obligatory prayer and are waiting for another.'
