حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ الْحَنَفِيُّ حَدَّثَنَا أُسَامَةُ بْنُ زَيْدٍ عَنْ عَمْرِو بْنِشُعَيْبٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ جَدِّهِ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ كَانَ نَائِمًا، فَوَجَدَ تَمْرَةً تَحْتَ جَنْبِهِ، فَأَخَذَهَا فَأَكَلَهَا، ثُمَّ جَعَلَ يَتَضَوَّرُ مِنْ آخِرِ اللَّيْلِ، وَفَزِعَ لِذَلِكَ بَعْضُ أَزْوَاجِهِ، فَقَالَ: إِنِّي وَجَدْتُ تَمْرَةً تَحْتَ جَنْبِي فَأَكَلْتُهَا، فَخَشِيتُ أَنْ تَكُونَ مِنْ تَمْرِ الصَّدَقَةِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ was sleeping, and he found a date under his side, so he took it and ate it. Then he began to toss and turn at the end of the night, and one of his wives became alarmed at that. He said: I found a date under my side and ate it, and I feared it might be from the dates of charity.
