✧ The Prophet ﷺ ruled: Any child claimed after his father, to whom he is attributed, if his heirs claim him, then the ruling is: If he was from a free woman whom he married, or from a slave woman whom he owned, then he is joined to the one who claimed him. If he was from a free woman or a slave woman with whom he committed adultery, he is not joined to the one who claimed him. If his father, to whom he is attributed, himself claimed him while he is a child of adultery, then he belongs to his mother's people, whoever they may be, free or slave.
