حَدَّثَنَا خَلَفٌ حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو جَعْفَرٍ يَعْنِي الرَّازِيَّ وَخَالِدٌ يَعْنِي الطَّحَّانَ عَنْ يَزِيدَ بْنِ أَبِي زِيَادٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي لَيْلَى عَنْ عَلِيِّ بْنِ أَبِي طَالِبٍ قَالَ
كُنْتُ رَجُلًا مَذَّاءً، فَسَأَلْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: أَمَّا الْمَنِيُّ فَفِيهِ الْغُسْلُ، وَأَمَّا الْمَذْيُ فَفِيهِ الْوُضُوءُ

✧ I was a man who emitted a lot of prostatic fluid, so I asked the Messenger of God ﷺ. He said: As for semen, it requires a full bath; as for prostatic fluid, it requires ablution.
