✧ Ibn Umar once combined two prayers. News came to him about Safiyya bt. Abi Ubayd that she was ill, so he departed after praying Asr, leaving the baggage, and quickened his pace. He traveled until the time of Maghrib came. A man among his companions spoke to him, saying: The prayer. He did not respond to him. Then another spoke to him, and he did not respond. Then another spoke to him, and he said: I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ when travel urged him on, he would delay this prayer until he combined two prayers.
