✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ and Ubayy b. Ka'b went to the palm grove where Ibn Sayyad was. When they entered the palm grove, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ began to shield himself with the trunks of the palm trees, trying to hear something from Ibn Sayyad before he saw him. Ibn Sayyad was lying on his bed in a velvet cloak of his, in which there was a murmuring sound. He said: His mother saw the Messenger of Allah ﷺ while he was shielding himself with the trunks of the palm trees, and she said: O Safi (that is his name), this is Muhammad. So he jumped up. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: If she had left him, he would have made things clear.
