حَدَّثَنَا ابْنُ نُمَيْرٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُبَيْدُ اللهِ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
السَّمْعُ وَالطَّاعَةُ عَلَى الْمَرْءِ الْمُسْلِمِ فِيمَا أَحَبَّ أَوْ كَرِهَ، إِلَّا أَنْ يُؤْمَرَ بِمَعْصِيَةٍ فَإِنْ أُمِرَ بِمَعْصِيَةٍ فَلَا سَمْعَ وَلَا طَاعَةَ

✧ Hearing and obedience are incumbent upon the Muslim in what he likes and dislikes, unless he is commanded to disobedience. If he is commanded to disobedience, then there is no hearing and no obedience.
