حَدَّثَنَا جَرِيرٌ عَنْ صَدَقَةَ بْنِ يَسَارٍ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ

وَقَّتَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ لِأَهْلِ الْمَدِينَةِ ذَا الْحُلَيْفَةِ، وَلِأَهْلِ الشَّامِ الْجُحْفَةَ. قَالَ: وَلِأَهْلِ نَجْدٍ قَرْنًا، وَلِأَهْلِ الْيَمَنِ يَلَمْلَمَ. قِيلَ لَهُ: فَالْعِرَاقُ ؟. قَالَ: لَا عِرَاقَ يَوْمَئِذٍ

Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ appointed for the people of Madinah Dhul-Hulayfah, and for the people of Sham al-Juhfah. He said: And for the people of Najd Qarn, and for the people of Yemen Yalamlam. It was said to him: What about Iraq? He said: There was no Iraq then.
