✧ When the Messenger of Allah ﷺ went on a military expedition or a journey and night overtook him, he would say: 'O earth, my Lord and your Lord is Allah. I seek refuge in Allah from your evil, the evil of what is in you, the evil of what is created in you, and the evil of what crawls upon you. I seek refuge in Allah from the evil of every lion, black serpent, snake, and scorpion, and from the evil of the dweller of the land, and from the evil of a parent and what he begets.'
