✧ I went out with Ibn Umar on one of the roads of Madinah, and he saw young men who had set up a chicken as a target, shooting at it, with every miss belonging to them. He said, "Who did this?" and became angry. When they saw Ibn Umar, they dispersed. Then Ibn Umar said, on the authority of the Prophet ﷺ: "May Allah curse the one who mutilates animals."
