حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو سَعِيدٍ مَوْلَى بَنِي هَاشِمٍ حَدَّثَنَا عُقْبَةُ بْنُ أَبِي الصَّهْبَاءِ حَدَّثَنَا سَالِمٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

صَلَّى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ الْفَجْرَ، ثُمَّ سَلَّمَ فَاسْتَقْبَلَ مَطْلِعَ الشَّمْسِ فَقَالَ: أَلَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا، أَلَا إِنَّ الْفِتْنَةَ هَاهُنَا، حَيْثُ يَطْلُعُ قَرْنُ الشَّيْطَانِ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Abū Saʿīd a freed slave of Banī Hāshim
  2. ʿUqbah b. Abū al-Ṣahbāʾ
  3. Sālim
  4. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed the dawn prayer, then he said the salam and faced the rising of the sun, and said: 'Indeed, the trial is here, indeed, the trial is here, where the horn of Satan rises.'
