قَرَأْتُ عَلَى عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ مَالِكٌ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ دِينَارٍ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ

نَهَى رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يَلْبَسَ الْمُحْرِمُ ثَوْبًا مَصْبُوغًا بِزَعْفَرَانٍ أَوْ وَرْسٍ، وَقَالَ: مَنْ لَمْ يَجِدْ نَعْلَيْنِ فَلْيَلْبَسْ خُفَّيْنِ، وَلْيَقْطَعْهُمَا أَسْفَلَ مِنَ الْكَعْبَيْنِ.

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. ʿAbd al-Raḥman Mālik
  2. ʿAbdullāh b. Dīnār
  3. ʿAbdullāh b. ʿUmar

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ forbade the pilgrim in ihram from wearing a garment dyed with saffron or wars. And he said: Whoever does not find sandals should wear leather socks and cut them below the ankles.
