حَدَّثَنَا رَوْحٌ حَدَّثَنَا حَنْظَلَةُ

سَمِعْتُ سَالِمًا وَسُئِلَ عَنْ رَجُلٍ طَلَّقَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ فَقَالَ: لَا يَجُوزُ، طَلَّقَ ابْنُ عُمَرَ امْرَأَتَهُ وَهِيَ حَائِضٌ، فَأَمَرَهُ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ أَنْ يُرَاجِعَهَا فَرَاجَعَهَا

Translation

✧ I heard Salim when he was asked about a man who divorced his wife while she was menstruating. He said: It is not valid. Ibn Umar divorced his wife while she was menstruating, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ commanded him to take her back, so he took her back.
