✧ Umar said: O Messenger of Allah, I acquired land at Khaybar, and I have never acquired anything more precious to me than it. He said: If you wish, you can make its original inalienable and give it as sadaqah. He said: So he gave it as sadaqah, its origin not to be sold, nor gifted, nor inherited. He said: So he gave it as sadaqah for the poor, the guest, the slaves, in the way of Allah and the wayfarer. There is no blame on whoever manages it to eat from it in a reasonable manner or to feed a friend without accumulating wealth from it.
