حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَخْبَرَنَا نَافِعٌ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ
أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ رَأَى نُخَامَةً فِي قِبْلَةِ الْمَسْجِدِ فَحَتَّهَا ثُمَّ قَالَ: إِذَا كَانَ أَحَدُكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ فَلَا يَتَنَخَّمْ - يَعْنِي - فَإِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى قِبَلَ وَجْهِ أَحَدِكُمْ فِي الصَّلَاةِ
Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw mucus in the qiblah of the mosque, so he scraped it off. Then he said, 'When one of you is in prayer, he should not spit — meaning — for Allah the Exalted is in front of the face of one of you during prayer.'
