حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ جَعْفَرٍ حَدَّثَنَا شُعْبَةُ وَحَجَّاجٌ قَالَ حَدَّثَنِي شُعْبَةُ عَنْ سِمَاكٍ الْحَنَفِيِّ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ ابْنَ عُمَرَ يَقُولُ
إِنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ صَلَّى فِي الْبَيْتِ، وَسَتَأْتُونَ مَنْ يَنْهَاكُمْ عَنْهُ فَتَسْمَعُونَ مِنْهُ - يَعْنِي: ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ - قَالَ حَجَّاجٌ: فَتَسْمَعُونَ مِنْ قَوْلِهِ، قَالَ ابْنُ جَعْفَرٍ: وَابْنُ عَبَّاسٍ جَالِسٌ قَرِيبًا مِنْهُ

✧ Indeed, the Messenger of Allah ﷺ prayed inside the House, and you will soon encounter someone who forbids you from it and you will obey him—meaning Ibn Abbas. Hajjaj said: 'And you will obey what he says.' Ibn Jafar said: 'While Ibn Abbas was sitting close to him.'
