✧ We were on a journey, and Ibn Umar was with us. I asked him, and he said: I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ not praying extra prayers on a journey before or after the obligatory prayer. He said: And I asked Ibn Umar about selling fruit, and he said: The Messenger of God ﷺ forbade selling fruit until the defect departs. I said: Abu Abd al-Rahman, what does "the defect departs" mean? What is the defect? He said: The rising of the Pleiades.
