حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدَةُ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ مُحَمَّدِ بْنِ جَعْفَرِ بْنِ الزُّبَيْرِ عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ قَالَ
سَمِعْتُ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ يُسْأَلُ عَنِ الْمَاءِ يَكُونُ بِأَرْضِ الْفَلَاةِ وَمَا يَنُوبُهُ مِنَ الدَّوَابِّ وَالسِّبَاعِ، فَقَالَ النَّبِيُّ ﷺ: إِذَا كَانَ الْمَاءُ قَدْرَ قُلَّتَيْنِ لَمْ يَحْمِلِ الْخَبَثَ.

✧ I heard the Prophet ﷺ being asked about water in open land and what comes to it from animals and predators. The Prophet ﷺ said: If the water is the amount of two qullahs, it does not carry impurity.
