حَدَّثَنَا مَرْوَانُ بْنُ مُعَاوِيَةَ الْفَزَارِيُّ أَخْبَرَنَا عَبْدُ الْعَزِيزِ بْنُ عُمَرَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الْعَزِيزِ عَنْ إِسْمَاعِيلَ بْنِ جَرِيرٍ عَنْ قَزَعَةَ قَالَ

قَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ عُمَرَ وَأَرْسَلَنِي فِي حَاجَةٍ لَهُ، فَقَالَ: تَعَالَ حَتَّى أُوَدِّعَكَ كَمَا وَدَّعَنِي رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ وَأَرْسَلَنِي فِي حَاجَةٍ لَهُ، فَأَخَذَ بِيَدِي فَقَالَ: أَسْتَوْدِعُ اللهَ دِينَكَ وَأَمَانَتَكَ وَخَوَاتِيمَ عَمَلِكَ.

Translation

✧ Abdullah b. Umar said: He sent me on an errand of his, then said: Come, let me bid you farewell as the Messenger of Allah ﷺ bade me farewell when he sent me on an errand of his. He took my hand and said: I entrust to Allah your religion, your trust, and the seal of your deeds.
