حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنِ ابْنِ أَبِي ذِئْبٍ عَنْ خَالِهِ الْحَارِثِ عَنْ حَمْزَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ بْنِ عُمَرَعَنْ أَبِيهِ قَالَ

كَانَتْ تَحْتِي امْرَأَةٌ كَانَ عُمَرُ يَكْرَهُهَا فَقَالَ: طَلِّقْهَا. فَأَبَيْتُ، فَأَتَى عُمَرُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فَقَالَ: أَطِعْ أَبَاكَ

Translation

✧ I had a wife whom Umar disliked. He said: Divorce her. I refused, so Umar went to the Messenger of God ﷺ and said: Obey your father.
