حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى عَنْ عُبَيْدِ اللهِ أَخْبَرَنِي نَافِعٌ قَالَ لَا أَعْلَمُهُ إِلَّا عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ
أَنَّ الْعَبَّاسَ اسْتَأْذَنَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ فِي أَنْ يَبِيتَ بِمَكَّةَ أَيَّامَ مِنًى مِنْ أَجْلِ السِّقَايَةِ، فَرَخَّصَ لَهُ.

✧ That Abbas sought permission from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ to stay in Mecca during the days of Mina for the purpose of providing water, so he granted him permission.
