✧ When Ibn Umar entered the nearest part of the sanctuary, he stopped the talbiyah. When he reached Dhu Tuwa, he spent the night there until morning, then prayed the dawn prayer and bathed, and he reported that the Messenger of God ﷺ used to do that. Then he entered Makkah in the forenoon, went to the House, touched the Black Stone, and said: In the name of God, and God is most great. Then he walked briskly for three circuits, walking between the two corners. Each time he reached the Stone, he touched it and said God is most great. For four circuits he walked normally. Then he came to the Station and prayed two rakʿahs. Then he returned to the Stone and touched it. Then he went out to al-Safa from the great gate, stood on it, and said God is most great seven times: three times saying God is most great, then saying: There is no god but God alone, with no partner; His is the dominion and His is the praise, and He is over all things powerful.
