حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدُ بْنُ فُضَيْلٍ عَنْ بَيَانٍ عَنْ وَبَرَةَ قَالَ
قَالَ رَجُلٌ لِابْنِ عُمَرَ: أَطُوفُ بِالْبَيْتِ وَقَدْ أَحْرَمْتُ بِالْحَجِّ ؟ قَالَ: وَمَا بَأْسُ ذَلِكَ ؟ قَالَ: إِنَّ ابْنَ عَبَّاسٍ نَهَى عَنْ ذَلِكَ. قَالَ: قَدْ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ أَحْرَمَ بِالْحَجِّ وَطَافَ بِالْبَيْتِ وَبَيْنَ الصَّفَا وَالْمَرْوَةِ.

✧ A man said to Ibn Umar: May I circumambulate the House while I have already entered ihram for Hajj? He said: What harm is there in that? The man said: Ibn Abbas forbade that. He said: I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ enter ihram for Hajj and then circumambulate the House and between Safa and Marwa.
