حَدَّثَنَا إِسْمَاعِيلُ حَدَّثَنَا أَيُّوبُ عَنْ نَافِعٍ عَنِ ابْنِ عُمَرَ عَنِ النَّبِيِّ ﷺ أَنَّهُ قَالَ
مَنِ اتَّخَذَ - أَوْ قَالَ: اقْتَنَى - كَلْبًا لَيْسَ بِضَارٍ وَلَا كَلْبَ مَاشِيَةٍ نَقَصَ مِنْ أَجْرِهِ كُلَّ يَوْمٍ قِيرَاطَانِ. فَقِيلَ لَهُ: إِنَّ أَبَا هُرَيْرَةَ يَقُولُ: وَكَلْبَ حَرْثٍ. فَقَالَ: إِنَّ لِأَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ حَرْثًا.

✧ Whoever takes—or he said: acquires—a dog that is neither for hunting nor a livestock dog, two qirats are deducted from his reward every day. It was said to him: Abu Hurayrah says: 'and a farm dog.' He said: Abu Hurayrah has farmland.
