حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا يُونُسُ أَخْبَرَنِي زِيَادُ بْنُ جُبَيْرٍ قَالَ
كُنْتُ مَعَ ابْنِ عُمَرَ بِمِنًى، فَمَرَّ بِرَجُلٍ وَهُوَ يَنْحَرُ بَدَنَةً وَهِيَ بَارِكَةٌ فَقَالَ: ابْعَثْهَا قِيَامًا مُقَيَّدَةً، سُنَّةَ مُحَمَّدٍ ﷺ.

✧ I was with Ibn ʿUmar at Minā when he passed by a man slaughtering a sacrificial camel while it was kneeling. He said: “Make it stand, hobbled; this is the Sunnah of Muḥammad ﷺ.”
