حَدَّثَنَا يَعْقُوبُ حَدَّثَنَا أَبِي عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنْ أَبِي عُبَيْدَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ اللهِ عَنْ أَبِيهِ أَنَّ النَّبِيَّ ﷺ

كَانَ فِي الرَّكْعَتَيْنِ كَأَنَّهُ عَلَى الرَّضْفِ ( وَرُبَّمَا قَالَ: الْأُولَيَيْنِ ) قَالَ: قُلْتُ لِأَبِي: حَتَّى يَقُومَ؟ قَالَ: حَتَّى يَقُومَ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Yaʿqūb
  2. my father

  4. Abū ʿUbaydah b. ʿAbdullāh
  5. his father
  6. al-Nabī ﷺ

✧ He was in the two rak'ahs as if he were on hot stones (and he sometimes said: the first two). He said: I said to my father: Until he stands? He said: Until he stands.
