حَدَّثَنَا هَاشِمٌ حَدَّثَنَا مُحَمَّدٌ يَعْنِي ابْنَ طَلْحَةَ عَنْ زُبَيْدٍ عَنْ مُرَّةَ عَنْ عَبْدِ اللهِ قَالَ
حَبَسَ الْمُشْرِكُونَ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ عَنْ صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ حَتَّى اصْفَرَّتِ الشَّمْسُ أَوِ احْمَرَّتْ فَقَالَ: شَغَلُونَا عَنِ الصَّلَاةِ الْوُسْطَى [صَلَاةِ الْعَصْرِ] مَلَأَ اللهُ أَجْوَافَهُمْ وَقُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا، أَوْ حَشَا اللهُ أَجْوَافَهُمْ وَقُبُورَهُمْ نَارًا.

✧ The polytheists detained the Messenger of Allah ﷺ from the afternoon prayer until the sun turned yellow or red. He said: 'They have distracted us from the middle prayer [the afternoon prayer]. May Allah fill their bellies and their graves with fire,' or 'May Allah stuff their bellies and their graves with fire.'
