✧ A man came to Abdullah b. Mas'ud and said: 'Last night I recited the Mufassal in one rak'ah.' Abdullah said: 'Scattering like the scattering of bad dates, and gabbling like the gabbling of poetry? I know the pairs that the Messenger of God ﷺ used to join together – two surahs in each rak'ah.'
