حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى حَدَّثَنَا إِسْرَائِيلُ عَنْ أَبِي إِسْحَاقَ عَنْ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ بْنِ يَزِيدَ
فِي قَوْلِهِ عَزَّ وَجَلَّ: مَا كَذَبَ الْفُؤَادُ مَا رَأَى قَالَ: رَأَى رَسُولُ اللهِ [ ﷺ ] جِبْرِيلَ ﷺ فِي حُلَّةٍ مِنْ رَفْرَفٍ، قَدْ مَلَأَ مَا بَيْنَ السَّمَاءِ وَالْأَرْضِ.

✧ Regarding the saying of Allah, Mighty and Majestic: 'The heart did not lie about what it saw,' he said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ saw Jibril ﷺ in a garment of fine silk, filling what is between the heaven and the earth.
