حَدَّثَنَا أَسْوَدُ بْنُ عَامِرٍ أَخْبَرَنَا أَبُو بَكْرٍ عَنْ عَاصِمٍ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَقَالَ عَبْدُ اللهِ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

مَنْ جَعَلَ لِلهِ نِدًّا جَعَلَهُ اللهُ فِي النَّارِ، وَقَالَ: وَأُخْرَى أَقُولُهَا لَمْ أَسْمَعْهَا مِنْهُ: مَنْ مَاتَ لَا يَجْعَلُ لِلهِ نِدًّا أَدْخَلَهُ اللهُ الْجَنَّةَ، وَإِنَّ هَذِهِ الصَّلَوَاتِ كَفَّارَاتٌ لِمَا بَيْنَهُنَّ مَا اجْتُنِبَ الْمَقْتَلُ.

Translation

  4. Abū Wāʾil Qālaqāl ʿAbdullāh
  5. Rasūl Allāh ﷺ

✧ Whoever sets up a rival to God, God will place him in the Fire. And he said: And another statement I say that I did not hear from him: Whoever dies without setting up a rival to God, God will admit him into Paradise. And indeed, these prayers are expiations for what is between them, as long as major sins are avoided.
