حَدَّثَنَا يَحْيَى بْنُ إِسْحَاقَ أَخْبَرَنَا ابْنُ لَهِيعَةَ حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ اللهِ بْنُ هُبَيْرَةَ قَالَ سَمِعْتُ أَبَا تَمِيمٍ الْجَيْشَانِيَّ يَقُولُسَمِعْتُ عُمَرَ بْنَ الْخَطَّابِ يَقُولُ سَمِعْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يَقُولُ

لَوْ أَنَّكُمْ كُنْتُمْ تَوَكَّلُونَ عَلَى اللهِ حَقَّ تَوَكُّلِهِ، لَرَزَقَكُمْ كَمَا يَرْزُقُ الطَّيْرَ أَلَا تَرَوْنَ أَنَّهَا تَغْدُو خِمَاصًا، وَتَرُوحُ بِطَانًا.

✧ If you were to rely on Allah as He truly deserves to be relied upon, He would provide for you as He provides for the birds. Do you not see that they go out hungry and return full?
