حَدَّثَنَا هُشَيْمٌ أَخْبَرَنَا سَيَّارٌ وَمُغِيرَةُ عَنْ أَبِي وَائِلٍ قَالَ قَالَ ابْنُ مَسْعُودٍ

خَصْلَتَانِ يَعْنِي: إِحْدَاهُمَا سَمِعْتُهَا مِنْ رَسُولِ اللهِ ﷺ، وَالْأُخْرَى مِنْ نَفْسِي: مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ يَجْعَلُ لِلهِ نِدًّا دَخَلَ النَّارَ، وَأَنَا أَقُولُ: مَنْ مَاتَ وَهُوَ لَا يَجْعَلُ لِلهِ نِدًّا، وَلَا يُشْرِكُ بِهِ شَيْئًا دَخَلَ الْجَنَّةَ

Translation

Chain of narrators

✧ Two qualities—meaning one of them I heard from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and the other from myself: Whoever dies while setting up a rival to Allah will enter the Fire, and I say: Whoever dies while not setting up a rival to Allah, and not associating anything with Him, will enter Paradise.
