✧ At what time do you prefer that I pray ‘Isha', as an imam or alone? He said: I heard Ibn Abbas say: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ delayed 'Isha' one night until the people slept and woke, and slept and woke. Then Umar b. al-Khattab stood and said: The prayer. Ata said: Ibn Abbas said: Then the Prophet of Allah ﷺ came out, and it is as if I can see him now with his head dripping water, placing his hand on the side of his head, and he said: Were it not that I would burden my community, I would have commanded them to pray it at this time.
