حَدَّثَنَا وَكِيعٌ حَدَّثَنَا سُفْيَانُ عَنِ ابْنِ طَاوُسٍ عَنْ أَبِيهِ عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ قَالَ قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ
مَنِ ابْتَاعَ طَعَامًا، فَلَا يَبِيعُهُ حَتَّى يَقْبِضَهُ. قُلْتُ لِابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ: لِمَ ؟ قَالَ: أَلَا تَرَى أَنَّهُمْ يَتَبَايَعُونَ بِالذَّهَبِ، وَالطَّعَامُ مُرْجَأٌ
Translation

✧ Whoever buys food should not sell it until he takes possession of it. I said to Ibn Abbas: Why? He said: Do you not see that they trade with gold while the food is deferred?
