✧ Umm Hufayd, the maternal aunt of Ibn 'Abbas, sent the Messenger of Allah ﷺ some clarified butter, dried curd, and a type of lizard. He ate the clarified butter and the dried curd, and he left the lizard out of disgust. It was eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, and if it had been forbidden, it would not have been eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ.
