✧ "Quraysh said to the Prophet ﷺ: 'Pray to our Lord to make Safa golden for us. If it becomes golden, we will follow you and believe that what you have said is true.' So, the Prophet ﷺ asked his Lord, the Almighty and Majestic, and Jibril came to him and said: 'If you wish, Safa will become golden for them. Whoever disbelieves after that, I will punish them with a punishment unlike any other in the world. And if you wish, we will open the doors of repentance for them.' The Prophet ﷺ said: 'O Lord, no, but open the doors of repentance for them.'"
