✧ Umm Ḥufayd bt. al-Ḥārith b. Ḥazn, the maternal aunt of Ibn ʿAbbās, gifted the Prophet ﷺ ghee, dried curd, and ḍabb lizards. He said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ called for them, and they were eaten at his table, and the Messenger of Allah ﷺ left them as if disgusted. If they had been unlawful, they would not have been eaten at the table of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ, nor would he have ordered them to be eaten.
