✧ Ali came out from the Messenger of Allah ﷺ during his illness, and they said: How has the Messenger of Allah ﷺ become this morning, O Abu al-Hasan? He said: He has become, praise be to Allah, recovered. Al-Abbas said: Do you not see?! I certainly see that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ will pass away from his pain, and I certainly recognize death in the faces of the Banu Abd al-Muttalib. So go with us to the Messenger of Allah and let us speak to him. If the matter is among us, he will make it clear; and if it is among other than us, we will speak to him, and he will enjoin good treatment of us. Ali said: If he says: the matter is among other than us, the people will never give it to us. And by Allah, I will never speak to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ about this.
