Translation

✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ wiped over the leather socks. Ask those who claim that the Prophet ﷺ wiped before the revelation of al-Ma'idah or after al-Ma'idah. By Allah, he did not wipe after al-Ma'idah. And if I were to wipe over the back of a caravan in the desert, it would be more beloved to me than to wipe over them.
