✧ A man came to Ibn Abbas and said: O Ibn Abbas, I am a man who makes these images and manufactures these images, so give me a ruling about them. He said: Come closer to me. So he came closer to him, and he said: Come closer to me. So he came closer to him until he placed his hand on his head. He said: Shall I inform you of what I heard from the Messenger of God ﷺ? I heard the Messenger of God ﷺ say: Every image-maker will be in the Fire. For every image he made, a soul will be created for him that will torment him in Hell. If you must do so, then make trees and what has no soul.
