✧ The Messenger of God ﷺ passed through the mosque one day while a group of women were sitting, and he gestured to them with his hand in greeting, saying, 'Beware of ingratitude to those who have been kind to you, beware of ingratitude to those who have been kind to you!' One of them said, 'O Messenger of God, I seek refuge in God, O Prophet of God, from ingratitude for God's blessings.' He said, 'Yes. One of you remains unmarried for a long time and remains a spinster for a long time, then God provides her with a husband and grants her a child and comfort of the eye, then she becomes angry once and swears by God that she has never seen any good from him at all. That is ingratitude for the blessings of God, Mighty and Majestic, and that is ingratitude to those who have been kind.'
