✧ A man entered the mosque of Damascus and said: 'O Allah, befriend my loneliness, have mercy on my estrangement, and provide me with a beloved, righteous companion.' Abu al-Darda' heard him and said: 'If you are truthful, then I am happier with what you said than you. I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say: "Among them is he who wrongs himself" (Fatir 35:32). He said: The wrongdoer is taken to account in that standing of his, and that is the distress and grief. "And among them is one who is moderate." He said: He will be given an easy reckoning. "And among them is one who is foremost in good deeds." He said: Those who enter Paradise without reckoning.'
