حَدَّثَنَا عَبْدُ الرَّزَّاقِ حَدَّثَنَا مَعْمَرٌ عَنْ زَيْدِ بْنِ أَسْلَمَ عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ أَنَّ امْرَأَةً حَدَّثَتْهُ قَالَتْ نَامَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ

ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ وَهُوَ يَضْحَكُ، فَقُلْتُ: تَضْحَكُ مِنِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ ؟ قَالَ: لَا. وَلَكِنْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَخْرُجُونَ غُزَاةً فِي الْبَحْرِ، مَثَلُهُمْ مَثَلُ الْمُلُوكِ عَلَى الْأَسِرَّةِ. قَالَتْ: ثُمَّ نَامَ، ثُمَّ اسْتَيْقَظَ أَيْضًا يَضْحَكُ، فَقُلْتُ: تَضْحَكُ [مِنِّي يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ] ؟ قَالَ: لَا. وَلَكِنْ مِنْ قَوْمٍ مِنْ أُمَّتِي يَخْرُجُونَ غُزَاةً فِي الْبَحْرِ، فَيَرْجِعُونَ قَلِيلَةً غَنَائِمُهُمْ مَغْفُورًا لَهُمْ. قَالَتِ: ادْعُ اللهَ أَنْ يَجْعَلَنِي مِنْهُمْ، فَدَعَا لَهَا قَالَ: فَأَخْبَرَنِي عَطَاءُ بْنُ يَسَارٍ قَالَ: فَرَأَيْتُهَا فِي غَزَاةٍ غَزَاهَا الْمُنْذِرُ بْنُ الزُّبَيْرِ إِلَى أَرْضِ الرُّومِ، وَهِيَ مَعَنَا فَمَاتَتْ بِأَرْضِ الرُّومِ.

✧ Then he woke up laughing, and I said, "Are you laughing at me, O Messenger of Allah?" He said, "No, but at a people from my community who will go out as raiders on the sea; their likeness is that of kings upon couches." She said: Then he slept, then woke up again laughing. I said, "Are you laughing [at me, O Messenger of Allah]?" He said, "No, but at a people from my community who will go out as raiders on the sea and return with little booty, yet forgiven." She said, "Supplicate Allah to make me one of them," so he supplicated for her. He said: 'Ata' b. Yasar informed me: He said, "I saw her in an expedition led by al-Mundhir b. al-Zubayr to the land of the Byzantines, and she was with us. She died in the land of the Byzantines."
