✧ I was present with the Messenger of Allah ﷺ among some people while he was saying, "I had considered forbidding ghila (intercourse with a nursing mother), but I looked at the Byzantines and the Persians, and they practice ghila with their children, and it does not harm their children at all." Then they asked him about coitus interruptus ('azl). The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, "That is the hidden infanticide, and it is the buried girl being asked."
