✧ The Messenger of Allah ﷺ came one day in haste, ascended the pulpit, and an announcement was made among the people: Prayer in congregation. The people gathered, and he said: O people, I have not called you out of desire or fear, but Tamim al-Dari informed me that a group of people from Palestine went to sea, and the wind cast them onto an island of the sea. There they found a hairy beast, and it was not known whether it was male or female because of the abundance of its hair. They said: Who are you? It said: I am al-Jassasah. They said: Then tell us. It said: I will not tell you, nor will I ask you, but in this monastery there is a man eager to tell you and to ask you. They entered the monastery, and there was a one-eyed man fettered in iron. He said: Who are you? They said: We are Arabs. He said: Has the Prophet been sent among you? They said: Yes. He said: Have the Arabs followed him? They said: Yes. He said: That is better for them. He said: What has Persia done? Has he been given victory over it? They said: No. He said: Indeed, he will be given victory over it. Then he said: What has the spring of Zughar done? They said: It flows abundantly, full. He said: What have the palm trees of Baysan done? Have they produced fruit? They said: Yes, their first fruits. He said: Then he leaped so violently that we thought he would break free. We said: Who are you? He said: I am the Dajjal. Indeed, I will tread the whole earth except Makkah and Taybah. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: Rejoice, O assembly of Muslims, this is Taybah; he will not enter it.
