حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُعَاوِيَةَ قَالَ حَدَّثَنَا عَاصِمٌ الْأَحْوَلُ عَنْ حَفْصَةَعَنْ أُمِّ عَطِيَّةَ قَالَتْ لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ {عَلَى
لَمَّا نَزَلَتْ هَذِهِ الْآيَةُ: عَلَى أَنْ لا يُشْرِكْنَ بِاللهِ شَيْئًا إِلَى قَوْلِهِ: وَلا يَعْصِينَكَ فِي مَعْرُوفٍ. قَالَتْ: كَانَ فِيهِ النِّيَاحَةُ. قَالَتْ: فَقُلْتُ: يَا رَسُولَ اللهِ، إِلَّا آلَ فُلَانٍ؛ فَإِنَّهُمْ قَدْ كَانُوا أَسْعَدُونِي فِي الْجَاهِلِيَّةِ فَلَا بُدَّ لِي مِنْ أَنْ أُسْعِدَهُمْ. فَقَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: إِلَّا آلَ فُلَانٍ

She said: So I said: O Messenger of God, except for the family of so-and-so, for they helped me in the pre-Islamic period, so I must help them. The Messenger of God ﷺ said: Except for the family of so-and-so.
