وقَالَ سُفْيَانُ مَرَّةً أُخْرَى حَدَّثَنِي كَثِيرُ بْنُ كَثِيرِ بْنِ الْمُطَّلِبِ بْنِ أَبِي وَدَاعَةَ عَمَّنْ

سَمِعَ جَدَّهُ يَقُولُ رَأَيْتُ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ يُصَلِّي مِمَّا يَلِي بَابَ بَنِي سَهْمٍ وَالنَّاسُ يَمُرُّونَ بَيْنَ يَدَيْهِ لَيْسَ بَيْنَهُ وَبَيْنَ الْكَعْبَةِ سُتْرَةٌ

Translation

Chain of narrators
  1. Kathīr b. Kathīr b. al-Muṭṭalib b. Abū And Dāʿah ʿAmman from his father

✧ He heard his grandfather say: “I saw the Messenger of God ﷺ praying near the gate of Banū Sahm while people were passing in front of him, and there was no sutra between him and the Kaʿba.”
