✧ I said: Two sons of mine died in Islam, O Messenger of Allah. He [the narrator] said: Then he said: 'Whoever loses two sons in Islam, Allah, the Mighty and Majestic, will admit him to Paradise by the virtue of His mercy towards them.' He said: Then after that, Abu Hurayrah met me and said: 'Are you the one to whom the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said what he said about the two sons?' I said: 'Yes.' He said: Then he said: 'For it to have been said to me would be dearer to me than all that Hims and Palestine contain.'
